Independent scope
CyberPath is an independent educational project created by Saad Douiri. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by OffSec, CompTIA, INE Security, TCM Security, Hack The Box, ISC2, or other providers mentioned on the site.
Source hierarchy
Current provider documentation is the primary source for objectives, exam rules, validity, prerequisites, and reporting requirements. Government and standards-body publications are preferred for professional frameworks and responsible practice. Reputable learning platforms may be used to map study resources. Community content is treated as secondary and never overrides an official rule.
Writing standard
Guides are written to add original value through structure, comparisons, decision frameworks, and study methodology. CyberPath does not reproduce paid course material, exam questions, private lab content, or proprietary objectives beyond what is necessary to identify an official public source.
Safety review
Public articles emphasize authorization, scope, professional judgement, documentation, and defensive value. They avoid operational instructions that would facilitate unauthorized access. Practical resources point to controlled training environments and remain subject to the provider's terms.
Updates and corrections
Pages show a review date where timing matters. Before a major roadmap update, CyberPath rechecks official objectives and policies, verifies external links, and reviews safety language. Readers should still verify time-sensitive details at the provider before purchasing or scheduling an exam.
Correction requests can be sent through the channels on the Contact page. Clear corrections are prioritized, and material changes should be reflected in the affected page.
Commercial transparency
External learning links are selected for relevance to the roadmap. CyberPath currently does not state that these links are affiliate links. Advertising, if approved and enabled, is delivered through Google AdSense and is separated from editorial decisions.
